敌楼突起临云表，周遭雉堞空中悬。惟闻鸟声远近相呼应，猿猱下上互攀援。
乾坤设险有如此，我初见之不觉神凛然。关中自古帝王宅，成周之世多历年。
古称在德不在险，不然秦传二世胡为不少延。方今万乘都幽燕，西顾雍陜寄旬宣。
犬牙相制意故在一关之地，中州山陜遥相联。城复为隍古所戒，咨尔守关将卒毋以四方无事长晏眠。

福建莆田人，字汝华。弘治六年进士。授户部主事。累迁江西左布政使。宁王朱宸濠夺大量民田，民立寨自保，宸濠欲加兵，岳持不可。后为李梦阳所讦，夺官为民。世宗即位，起抚江西。旋召为大理卿，陈刑狱失平八事，迁兵部左侍郎。后乞休归。有《莆阳文献》、《山斋集》。
