送朱大入秦创作背景
孟浩然曾于公元727年（唐玄宗开元十五年），公元729年（开元十七年）至733年（开元二十一年）孟浩然再到吴越漫游。这首诗当作于游人五陵去。五陵”本为汉高祖长陵、惠帝安陵、景帝阳陵、武帝茂陵、昭帝平陵，都在长安，诗中用作长安的代称。
送朱大入秦鉴赏
首句“游人五陵去”“游人”，强调其浪游者的身份。“五陵”本为汉高祖长陵、惠帝安陵、景帝阳陵、武帝茂陵、昭帝平陵，都在长安，诗中用作长安的代称。京华之地，是游侠云集之处。“宝剑值千金”，惜别赠别乃知之所为这句诗本为曹植《名都篇》诗句，这里信手拈来，不仅强调宝剑本身的价值，而且有身无长物的意味。这样的赠品，将是无比珍贵，不可等闲视之。诗中写赠剑，有一个谁赠谁受的问题。从诗题看，本可顺理成章地理解为作者送朱大以剑。而从“宝剑”句紧接“游人”言之，似乎还可理解为朱大临行对作者留赠以剑。在送别时，虽然只能发生其中一种情况；但入诗时，诗人的著意唯在赠剑事本身，似乎已不太注重表明孰失孰得。这反而耐人寻想。
千金之剑，分手脱赠，大有疏财重义的慷慨之风。不禁令人联想到一个著名的故事，那便是“延陵许剑”。《史记·吴太伯世家》记载，受封延陵的吴国公子“季札之初使，北过徐君。徐君好季札剑，口弗敢言。季札心知之，为使上国，未献。还至徐，徐君已死，于是乃解其宝剑，系之徐君冢树而去。”季札挂剑，其节义之心固然可敬，但毕竟已成一种遗憾。“分手脱相赠”，痛快淋漓。最后的“平生一片心”，语浅情深，似是赠剑时的赠言，又似赠剑本身的含义——即不赠言的赠言。只说“一片心”而不说一片什么心，妙在含浑。却更能激发人海阔天空的联想。那或是一片仗义之心，或是一片报国热情。总而言之，它表现了双方平素的仗义相期，令人咀嚼，转觉其味深长。浩然性格中也有豪放的一面。唐人王士源在《孟浩然集序》中称他“救患释纷，以立义表”，“交游之中，通脱倾盖，机警无匿”，《新唐书·文艺传》谓其“少好节义，喜振人患难。”那么，这首小诗所表现的慷慨激昂，也就不是偶然的了。

孟浩然（689-740），男，汉族，唐代诗人。本名不详（一说名浩），字浩然，襄州襄阳（今湖北襄阳）人，世称“孟襄阳”。浩然，少好节义，喜济人患难，工于诗。年四十游京师，唐玄宗诏咏其诗，至“不才明主弃”之语，玄宗谓：“卿自不求仕，朕未尝弃卿，奈何诬我？”因放还未仕，后隐居鹿门山，著诗二百余首。孟浩然与另一位山水田园诗人王维合称为“王孟”。
