送从兄郜鉴赏
诗歌首联，感慨人生道路多而漫长，天下之大，不知何时才能与堂兄再次相见。表达了与从兄分别后不知何处能相逢的伤感。
第二联希望珍惜时间，千万不要虚度，不然头发花白也难再相见，表达了岁月不等人，与从兄不知何时能相逢的伤感。这两句长于比拟，前句以抽象的、看不见摸不着而又无处不在的时间，比作可任人随意抛掷的物体，后句以无主观感情可言的华发拟人。两个比拟手法的运用，既增强了诗句的形象感，又使之显得生动活泼。“莫虚掷”三字给人以警示，“不相容“一句更增强了人的紧迫感，两句都起到了极好的劝诫作用。
第三联是名句，注意炼词炼句，“摇”即摇动、晃动，月亮的倒影在水中随波荡漾，以动衬静，描绘出诗人送别从兄时环境的凄清冷寂。“雨”是诗眼，空城细雨绵绵，掩挡了钟声。

方干（809—888）字雄飞，号玄英，睦州青溪(今淳安)人。擅长律诗，清润小巧，且多警句。其诗有的反映社会动乱，同情人民疾苦；有的抒发怀才不遇，求名未遂的感怀。文德元年(888年)，方干客死会稽，归葬桐江。门人相与论德，谥曰“玄英先生”，并搜集他的遗诗370余篇，编成《方干诗集》传世。《全唐诗》编有方干诗6卷348篇。宋景佑年间，范仲淹守睦州，绘方干像于严陵祠配享。
