译文
从军疆场的壮志难酬令人怅惘，东南形势的忧虑情怀注满诗行。
赋诗抒怀和仗剑抗敌是我平生志愿，十五年来完全辜负了“狂士”声名。
注释
绝域：隔绝的地域，言其远。此指我国边疆。
惘（wǎng）然：失志的样子。指从军的愿望未能实现。
东南：指我国东南沿海一带。当时英、美、葡等国已开始在东南沿海一带的广州、漳州(今属厦门)、宁波进行经济掠夺。
词笺（jiān）：写诗词的纸，亦可作“诗词”看。笺，古代小幅而极精致的纸。
负：辜负。十五年：诗人于嘉庆十四年（1809）十八岁时成人立志，在北京与被目为“狂士”的著名诗人王昙订为忘年交，当时已在社会上小有名气，从那时到此时，前后正好十五年。

漫感创作背景
该诗作于道光三年（1823），作者三十二岁。面对内忧外患日益严重的国势，龚自珍忧心如焚。他希望能以自己的文才武略为国出力。然而，这一年春他第四次参加会试落第，连续的失败使他痛感报国无门便写了这首诗抒发报国志向。

漫感鉴赏
这是一首充满强烈爱国主义激情的诗篇，诗中吐露仗剑从军的爱国情怀，也抒发出壮志难酬的忧愤与怅惘。
“绝域从军计惘然，东南幽恨满词笺。”两句，感慨立功边塞之志不能如愿，只得借诗把闲散于东南的满腔幽恨抒发出来。由“绝域从军”即一向关注的西北边疆局势遥遥说起，实指那种“气寒西北何人剑”的经世雄心，可是现实中哪里能寻得这样一个舞台。早在十年前，他就已经清醒地认识到“纵使文章惊海内，纸上苍生而已！似春水、干卿甚事”（《金缕曲·癸酉秋出都述怀有赋》），如今不也还是落得“幽恨满词笺”的结局么？那么所谓“幽恨”又何指？诗人尝自陈：“怨去吹箫，狂来说剑，两样销魂味”（《湘月·壬申夏泛舟西湖》），或者大展雄才，或者远避尘嚣，这是他平生心事之不可割分的两个层面。于是有下文“负尽狂名”的情极之语，郁勃苍凉，令人耸然动容。
“一箫一剑平生意，负尽狂名十五年。”后两句直抒胸臆。诗人在《己亥杂诗》中曾有“少年击剑更吹箫，剑气箫心一例消”的愤慨，正可作这两句的注脚。立志革新的诗人，本想以“剑”与“箫”这一武一文来实现改革社会的愿望，而今写了一些满纸幽恨的词章，丝毫无助于补偏救弊，岂不是徒具狂名！全诗意境雄浑，感情奔放，有强烈的感人力量。

龚自珍（1792年8月22日～1841年9月26日）清代思想家、文学家及改良主义的先驱者。27岁中举人，38岁中进士。曾任内阁中书、宗人府主事和礼部主事等官职。主张革除弊政，抵制外国侵略，曾全力支持林则徐禁除鸦片。48岁辞官南归，次年暴卒于江苏丹阳云阳书院。他的诗文主张“更法”、“改图”，揭露清统治者的腐朽，洋溢着爱国热情，被柳亚子誉为“三百年来第一流”。著有《定庵文集》，留存文章300余篇，诗词近800首，今人辑为《龚自珍全集》。著名诗作《己亥杂诗》共315首。
