译文
花前没有了她的陪伴，独自在花间徘徊，看繁花似锦，芳草天涯，一株株、一簇簇，都有他寻找的往昔旧梦，触目悲凉。虽是春光美景，却是欢乐难再，既使笙歌入耳，婉转悠扬，也只能唤起他对爱侣的追忆，从而更添感伤惆怅。
转眼望去，林间彩蝶对对，帘间飞燕双双，皆在快乐嘻逐，恩爱相偕。不思量、难思量，抬头望天边，还是夕阳西沉、残阳如血。血色勾勒了天边的绿树，涂抹了林中的青苔，也笼罩了他的心，明丽而惨烈。

纵有：纵使有。
笙歌：笙代指各种乐器；笙歌即指各种乐器演奏声和歌声。
忍：作“怎忍”解。

采桑子·花前失却游春侣鉴赏
上片写“失却游春侣”、“独自寻芳”之悲。
“花前失却游春侣，独自寻芳。满目悲凉。”“花前月下”，原为游春男女的聚会之地；而偏偏在这游乐之处，失却了游春之侣；花前诚然可乐，但独自一人，徘徊觅侣，则触景生情，适足添愁，甚而至于举目四顾，一片凄凉，大好春光，亦黯然失色。
“纵有笙亦断肠。”笙歌在游乐时最受欢迎，但无人相伴，则笙歌之声，适足令人生悲。“纵有”两字，从反面衬托失去之痛：笙歌散尽，固然使人因孤寂而断肠，但他却感到即使笙歌满耳，也仍然是愁肠欲断。
下片写因见蝶燕双双，兴起孤独之感。
“林间戏蝶帘间燕，各自双双。”自己失却游春之侣而影单形只，但闲步四望，只见彩蝶双双，飞舞林间；蒸儿对对，出入帘幕。
“忍更思量，绿树青苔半夕阳。”彩蝶、燕儿都成双做对，使他怎能再耐得住自己的孤独之感！“绿树青苔半夕阳”一句，以景结情，夕阳斜照在绿树青苔之上的静景，正与上片的“满目悲凉”之句相拍合。

冯延巳 （903--960）又名延嗣，字正中，五代广陵（今江苏省扬州市）人。在南唐做过宰相，生活过得很优裕、舒适。他的词多写闲情逸致辞，文人的气息很浓，对北宋初期的词人有比较大的影响。宋初《钓矶立谈》评其“学问渊博，文章颖发，辩说纵横”，其词集名《阳春集》。
