新凉译文及注释
译文
一望无际的稻田里，水波微漾，整齐的稻子如刀削一般。清晨的阳光穿过树叶，投影在地上，晨雾在树间缭绕。
黄莺也喜欢早晨的清凉时光，在青山的影子里欢快的啼鸣。
注释
新凉：指初秋凉爽的天气。
田畴：耕熟的田地。泛指田地。
新凉鉴赏
这是一首清新、明快的田园小诗，虽无深意，却具恬适、自然的情致。
“凉”是一种“心境”，很不好表现，所以，必须采用以“物境”来表达“心境”的手法，通俗一点说，就是化无形为有形，构成诗中的“图画”，以渲染气氛。诗人用白描的手法勾勒出三幅小画面，第一幅是稻田，从它灌满了水和长得绿油油、齐整整的稻叶中透出凉意。第二幅是树丛，“晓”字自含凉意，低压的雾气也自含凉意，“日”本有热意，因其初升，故也“沧沧凉凉”，何况其穿树而来。第三幅是飞莺，黄莺儿越过田野，飞向晨雾迷蒙的山阴，纳凉去了，诗人的心中仿佛也顿生凉意。把这三幅小画面合起来，便构成了一幅清新、明快的田园山水大图画。
由此，“新凉”这一心境，也就从这大图画中的每一个组成部分里渗透出来。而那黄莺的啼鸣，又为这幅大图画添上画外音，呼唤诗人投身其中，共纳新凉。诗人悠然自得的心情，一吟即出。

徐玑（1162～1214）字致中，又字文渊，号灵渊，浙江温州永嘉松台里人。祖籍福建晋江安海徐状元巷人，唐状元徐晦之裔。“皇考潮州太守定， 始为温州永嘉人”。福建晋江徐定第三子，受父“致仕恩”得职，浮沉州县， 为官清正，守法不阿，为民办过有益之事。“诗与徐照如出一手，盖四灵同一机轴，而二人才分尤相近”（纪昀《四库全书总目录》）有《二激亭诗集》。 亦喜书法，“无一食去纸笔；暮年，书稍近《兰亭》”（叶适《徐文渊墓志铭》）后改长泰令，未至官即去世。
