织妇词译文及注释
译文
织妇为什么忙呢，原来蚕种三卧之后就要老了。织妇们诚心祷告蚕神保佑蚕儿早点出丝，因为今年官家要提前抽征丝税。今年提前征税并不是因为官员横征暴敛，而是去年发动了战争。打仗艰苦，丝织品可供伤兵包扎伤口，也可制成丝罗帐幕赏给军功赫赫的将军。一般的缲丝织作本来已够费力的了，织有花纹的绫罗更是难上加难。拨动织机、变动丝缕，在织品上挑出花纹极为不易，需要很高的工艺水平。培养挑纹能手实为不易，竟有巧女因手艺出众为娘家羁留而贻误青春。在檐前飘动的丝网上，蜘蛛来回爬动。羡慕这小虫儿纯出天性，可以自由编制罗网啊！
注释
蚕经三卧行欲老：蚕有眠性，文中的蚕种三卧之后进入四眠，四眠后即上簇结茧。古织妇往往亦为蚕妇，所以要提前做准备。
蚕神女圣：古代传说黄帝妃嫘祖是第一个发明养蚕抽丝的人，民间奉之为蚕神，诗中称她为“蚕神女圣”。
丝税：唐代纺织业极为发达，荆、扬、宣、益等州均设置专门机构，监造织作，征收捐税。
戎索：本义为戎法，此处引申为战事。
罗幕：即丝罗帐幕。
袅袅：摇曳、飘动的样子。

元稹（779年－831年，或唐代宗大历十四年至文宗大和五年），字微之，别字威明，唐洛阳人（今河南洛阳）。父元宽，母郑氏。为北魏宗室鲜卑族拓跋部后裔，是什翼犍之十四世孙。早年和白居易共同提倡“新乐府”。世人常把他和白居易并称“元白”。
