释绍嵩，字亚愚，庐陵（今江西吉安）人。长于诗，自谦“每吟咏信口而成，不工句法，故自作者随得随失”。今存《江浙纪行集句诗》七卷，系理宗绍定二年（一二二九）秋自长沙出发，访游江浙途中寓意之作。后应知嘉兴府黄尹元之请，主嘉兴大云寺。事见本集卷首自序。 释绍嵩诗，以汲古阁影宋抄本为底本，校以清顾氏读画斋刊《南宋群贤小集》本（简称读画斋本）。新辑集外诗一首附于卷末。
