巾帼英雄的典故

在三国纷争的时代，蜀国丞相诸葛亮率军出祁山，攻打魏国。魏军统领司马懿与诸葛亮对峙于渭南。由于看到诸葛亮远道而来，利于急战，所以司马懿采取了相持战术。蜀军多次挑战，屡次辱骂，司马懿都不肯出战。诸葛亮深知，如果这样相持下去对蜀军是极为不利的，故而发动强攻。可是无奈北魏军深沟高垒，很难取胜，可是诸葛亮又怎能甘心退兵？于是他想出了一个很巧妙的办法：派人大张旗鼓地前往魏营给司马懿送了一份“厚礼”——一大堆妇女用的头巾和发饰（钗、环、及脂粉等），还写了一封信，说司马懿太胆小了，一个大英雄，掌握那么多兵将，竟然不敢前来应战。如果他领兵出战，就是男子汉、大英雄；如果不敢出战，干脆就用妇女的头巾包上头（看到这里你会理解最初巾帼英雄是什么意思了吧），再用脂粉化妆吧！以此来讥讽证明他这个所谓的英雄只是个一般妇女而已，这是激将法。而司马懿虽然非常生气，却依然没有中计。
