缘木求鱼的典故
战国时候，齐国国君齐宣王想用武力征服天下，孟子劝他放弃武力，采用仁慈的政治措施。孟子对齐宣王说：“大王如果想用武力征服天下，就好比‘缘木求鱼’，结果肯定是徒劳无功，不但达不到目的，还可能造成祸害。”
齐宣王觉得孟子的话很有道理，便听从了他的劝告。
