春秋时期鲁国勇士卞庄子敢于只身同老虎搏斗，他听说山上有两只老虎就想去打，朋友劝说等两只老虎争食时再下手可以一举两得。他耐心等到大老虎为了吃到黄牛而咬死小老虎，觉得这时时机已成熟，轻易地打死那只大老虎。
