破柱求奸的典故

汉朝时期，权臣张让的弟弟张朔担任野王令，贫残无道，甚至还杀害孕妇，他听说李膺执法威严，就逃回京师，就藏到张让家的合柱中。李膺听说后，立即带领官吏与士卒到张让家，劈开柱子抓取张朔，投入洛阳监狱，上报皇帝后，立即将其正法。
