开门揖盗的成语故事

开门揖盗的典故

公元221年，吴郡太守许贡因见孙策在江东的势力日大，便写信给汉献帝，请求将孙策调走。不料，信被截获，许贡被杀。许贡的三个门客，决心为许贡报仇。他们利用孙策打猎的机会，用箭射伤了他。

从打猎场回来，孙策伤势加重，临死之前他把长史张昭和弟弟孙权找来，嘱托后事，将印绶授给孙权。

孙策死后，孙权十分伤心，悲痛不止。张昭劝他说：“现今奸邪作乱，互相争夺，豺狼当道，如果只顾悲哀，而不去考虑大事，这就好像开着门请强盗进来一样，岂不自招祸患。”

听了张昭的劝说，孙权止住悲伤。张昭请孙权换上衣服，扶他上马视察军队。东吴有了新主，人心稳定。后来与蜀、魏形成三国鼎立的局面。
