南北朝的泰钦和尚自小悟性过人。有一天，金陵清凉寺方丈法眼和尚开坛讲法，问众人：“老虎脖子上系了一个金铃，谁能把它解下来？”众人都回答不出来。

这时，恰好小泰钦来了。法眼便问泰钦，泰钦说：“大家为什么不回答：‘系铃的人能够解下来呢？’”
